The Bai Mu Dan leaves are fuzzy and silvery, and they unfold beautifully in my glass teapot at around 175 degrees. The flavor is so gentle I was worried it'd be watery, but it's actually sweet and a little floral. I've been drinking it every afternoon instead of green tea.

I’ve been brewing this Pai Mu Tan every afternoon for a week now, and the leaves hold their delicate sweetness through three steeps without turning bitter. It’s become my quiet ritual, a cup of something soft and calming that still feels like a treat.

The flavor is wonderfully subtle, which makes it perfect for slow sipping when I don't want anything too bold. Steeped it a bit longer than usual and it stayed smooth without turning bitter, though I do wish the bag had a bit more leaf for the price.
