銀針白毫

Brewed a pot this morning and the liquor is so pale and clean, almost sweet without any bitterness. You can tell only the downy buds made it in here, the leaves are soft and fluffy even dry. This is my new everyday white tea.

The buds arrived intact and fluffy, not crushed into dust like cheaper whites I've tried. Steeping them brings out a soft, almost silky mouthfeel that lingers nicely on the tongue. Works perfectly as a gentle afternoon cup when I don't want any astringency.

These downy buds are so delicate and sweet, nothing like the bitter leaves I usually get. The dry leaves are beautiful and white, and a single steep is enough to know this is a very special tea.
